Landscape Planning

Successfully landscaping or renovating your property starts with good planning. A landscaping plan allows you to view your ideas on paper. It serves as a guide to the successful implementation of a well-structured space that reflects your preferences, and takes your current and future needs into consideration. And it can help save valuable time, effort and money.

Defining your needs

Your on-site consultation with our professional designer will help you decide on the elements you want to integrate into your landscape design. This stage also includes taking stock of various project components:

  • Your property’s distinctive features (sunlight, wind, drainage, etc.)
  • Grounds layout
  • Buildings
  • Existing infrastructures and structures (exterior furniture, house, pool, etc.)
  • Existing traffic, planted and grassy areas
  • Materials selection

Designing your landscape

We use your certificate of location to establish the exact size of your property and the precise location of your house on the property. We take several measurements in an effort to locate existing elements and determine your property’s various levels in order to ensure adequate drainage.

If you are landscaping a new property, we recommend long-term planning: if, in a more or less distant future, you will be adding a swimming pool, patio or water basin, we suggest including them in the plan to avoid unnecessary cutting or transplanting in the future.

« We create lasting, unique spaces that reflect your lifestyle. »

First, we plan your sidewalks, landings, driveway, lamp posts, planters, pool, patio, etc. Then we design your planting areas according to your preferences: front flowerbeds, around lamp posts, along the foundation or the driveway, and pergolas, flowerpots, trellises or rock gardens.
